July’s Topic:

“How to Protect Your College Student In Case of Emergency”

When children turn 18 years old, they are granted sole ownership of their legal rights and protections.

The hard reality is that this means parents no longer legally have any say over medical, financial, or legal decisions involving their newly adult child.  Even in the event of an emergency.

Many parents are shocked to learn this, while others find out the hard way. Suddenly, they discover themselves on the sidelines as medical treatment providers or school officials refuse to speak to them about their child’s citing privacy laws. The resulting situation is stressful and painfully frustrating, while any remedies are expensive and uncertain.

Thankfully, we have a solution we’d like to share with you.

Please join us with your questions and if, possible, invite other parents you think might benefit.
